AONB publishes new Management Plan
The second statutory Management Plan for Nidderdale AONB was
endorsed by local authorities and formally approved by Natural
England in April 2009.
The Plan is about how the special qualities of this nationally
important landscape can be maintained, in a way that does not harm
the interests of people who live and work in the
AONB. It contains policies that say what the AONB stands
for, a vision of how the AONB should look in 2020, and an Action
Plan that sets out who needs to do what to meet the Plan's
objectives by 2014.
