We're looking for volunteers - Why not join our team?

Do you enjoy the countryside? Love walking in beautiful surroundings? Enjoy sharing your knowledge with others? Then you may be just the person we're looking for.

We are recruiting a team of Open Access Volunteers to work in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and other areas in North Yorkshire. Your role as a Volunteer will be to help ensure the new right of access to open country is welcomed by walkers and landoweners alike.

  • Full training will be provided
  • Travel expenses will be paid
  • You will be provided with navigation and communications equipment
  • As an Open Access Volunteer your duties will be interesting and varied. Duties can be tailored to suit your strengths and interests. You will also become a member of the new countywide Countryside Volunteer Service.
