There are a number of grants available to assist landowners, farmers, individuals, communities, parish councils and organisations.

 

Funding is available to support a wide range of activities in the AONB, from drystone wall repairs to improvements to village halls.  However, locating the funding and successfully applying for it is sometimes more complex. 

 

A good first point of call is the AONB office. It may be possible to arrange a site visit, meeting or provide advice over the phone. 

 

The Nidderdale AONB has four of its own funding schemes which are specifically designed to be as simple as possible with minimal paper work to allow quick decisions.
