Source to City

Source to City is an exciting project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and designed to raise awareness and understanding of the heritage associated around the construction of the eleven reservoirs built in Nidderdale AONB.

The project aims to involve upper primary age children in both the rural areas of Nidderdale, where the reservoirs are located, and the urban areas of Leeds and Bradford where the water goes to. The project is designed to fit into the school curriculum and a variety of resources and activity days are available for those who wish to take part. If you are intersted in your school taking part in the project, please contact Naomi Large at BTCV on 01904 644300.
