Tales of Hackfall
Wednesday 2nd June
1pm - 3pm
A magical tour of inspiration and adventure around Hackfall, as part of National Family Week. Some paths are steep and can be muddy/slippery. Dogs welcome.
Meet: The Crown Inn, Grewelthorpe.
Cost: £3 per adult, under 16's free.

Bewerley Industrial Heritage Trail
Sunday 6th June
10.15am - 5pm
Walk the Bewerley Industrial Heritage Trail with Open Access Volunteer Hilary Cunningham-Atkins. Learn about the industrial history of the area, whilst enjoying stunning views and local wildlife. This 9mile/14.5km walk includes some steep ascents and descents and crosses rough, boggy ground and fields containing livestock.
Meet: Pateley Bridge Showground car park
Cost: £3 per adult, under 16's free.

Dr Keith Boughey leads this fascinating walk to find hidden prehistoric carvings in Nidderdale. A moderate 3 mile walk in two parts with a brief car journey between them.

Discover Hackfall

Join the Hackfall Officer for an evening walk of discovery and enjoy the beauty and history of Hackfall. Some paths are steep and can be muddy/slippery. Dogs welcome.
Meet: The Woodland Trust car park on the Grewelthorpe to Masham Road.

Introduction to Geocaching - for adults

10am - 1.30pm
Join us on this high-tech treasure hunt and locate the hidden containers using a map and a GPS. Over 14's only.
Meet: Near Beaver Dyke Reservoir. Exact location will be given at time of booking.

Sunday 27th June
2pm - 4pm
Learn about different kinds of creepy crawlies and see how many you can find on this fun family hunt! With Robert & Teresa Marshall of Harrogate Naturalists Wildlife Watch as part of National Insect Week. Centrally based activity so no long distance walking. Equipment and instruction provided but bring your own if you wish. Wildlife released unharmed after close inspection with magnifiers.
Meet: Lime Tree Farm, Grewelthorpe.
Cost: £2 per child. Accompanying adults free.
