Brimham Rocks & Moor

Join Open Access Volunteer David Davies on this wonderful 5-6 mile circular walk around Brimham Rocks locality. Not suitable for small children. Dogs welcome.

Join Marian Wilby, AONB Farm Conservation Advisor, and discover the beauty of wild flowers in Nidderdale. A short, easy stroll.
Meet: Lay-by on the roadside between Lofthouse and Middlesmoor, Grid Ref SE099735

Moorland Safari
Thursday 8th July
7pm - 9.30pm
Explore Rocking Moor, on the edge of the AONB, with experts from Natural England, Bolton Abbey Estate and Nidderdale AONB. Find out about this valuable landscape, its management and some of the flora and fauna it supports. The evening will close with a moorland supper to which all participants will be asked to contribute. The event will involve some walking and some travel in Land Rovers.
Meet: Blubberhouses. Exact Location will be given at time of booking.

Join Charles Fletcher for a morning learning about Hackfall Wood's night fliers. Some paths are steep and can be muddy/slippery

Join experts from Wharfedale Naturalists on this fascinating walk and find out more about these magnificent and beautiful creatures. Several miles will be covered during the day but this will be broken with plenty of stops at ponds to view different dragonflies.
