The Wild Watch - More Marvellous Moths

Moths are amazing, beautiful, diverse, they are all around us and we are trying to find out more about moths in the AONB to make sure we can look after them in the future. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about the moths of the AONB with local experts Charlie Fletcher (County moth recorder) and Jill Warwick. Jill and Charlie will set up the moth traps the night before and in the morning we can see what they have found. Location TBC.

If you are interested in running your own moth trap, you can borrow one from us to set up in your garden on 13th July. You can then bring your 'catch' along to our morning session on 14th July for identification with Charlie and Jill. Please contact the AONB office on for more information.

Please note this event is weather-dependent and in the event of bad weather we will make a decision the day before. Please provide your telephone number when booking.

This event is free but places are limited so please book to avoid disappointment. It's an early start but we will provide cake!

Location: TBC

Date: 14 July 2018 09:00 - 14 July 2018 11:00
