The Wild Watch

The Wild Watch is Nidderdale's biggest ever wildlife survey and we need you to help us!

The Wild Watch is a three year project being delivered by Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, made possible by The Heritage Lottery Fund. This area of North Yorkshire is home to spectacular and in some cases threatened, wildlife including curlew, wood warbler, burnt orchid and water vole. We are working with local people gather information on over 50 species right across the AONB, we will carefully analyse this information and what we discover will help us decide how best to look after the land in the future.
